SUBSCRIPTION POLICY

This Subscription Policy applies to subscriptions for Vector Painter Nest purchased through vector-painter.com and forms part of our Terms of Service.

  1. SERVICE PROVIDER

The Vector Painter Nest subscription is provided by:

In this Subscription Policy, “Vector Painter”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to OSVČ Ivan Bilous.

  1. ABOUT THE SUBSCRIPTION

Vector Painter Nest is browser-based laser cutting nesting software supplied as a digital service.

The product is offered as a recurring monthly subscription, not as a one-time software purchase.

No physical product or permanently licensed copy of the software is supplied. Customers receive online access to the Service while their subscription remains active.

An active subscription includes:

  • Unlimited ordinary use of the available nesting and editing functions.

  • Unlimited SVG exports, subject to the technical limits of the Service.

  • Access to available updates and improvements.

  • Customer support by email.

“Unlimited” means that there is no stated monthly limit on ordinary individual projects or exports. Individual operations may still be subject to technical restrictions relating to file size, SVG complexity, processing time, server capacity or browser performance.

Unlimited use does not permit account sharing, resale of access, automated mass processing, attempts to overload the Service or circumvention of technical or security restrictions.

  1. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS AND SUPPORTED FILES

The Service requires:

  • A stable internet connection.

  • A current desktop web browser.

  • A compatible desktop or laptop computer.

  • An active Vector Painter customer account.

The Service is designed for desktop and laptop computers. Mobile phone use is not officially supported.

Vector Painter Nest works only with clean SVG files containing ordinary vector elements, including curves, straight lines and basic vector shapes.

SVG effects and unsupported elements may not be processed correctly. Files containing filters, complex visual effects, embedded raster images or other unsupported SVG content should be converted into clean vector geometry before being uploaded.

Customers are responsible for keeping backup copies of their original and exported files. Vector Painter Nest is not a permanent file storage or backup service.

  1. CONTRACT FORMATION AND ACCESS

The subscription contract is concluded when the customer completes checkout, payment is successfully authorised and an order confirmation is issued.

Access is normally provided without undue delay after successful payment.

To access Vector Painter Nest, the customer must sign in at https://vector-painter.com/ using the same email address used for the purchase.

The order confirmation and relevant contractual information will be sent electronically to the email address entered during checkout.

  1. PRICE, TAXES AND MONTHLY BILLING

The applicable monthly subscription price is displayed on the product page and during checkout.

Before the customer completes the order, the checkout will clearly show:

  • That the product is a recurring monthly subscription.

  • The amount of the initial payment.

  • The amount and frequency of recurring payments.

  • Applicable taxes and mandatory charges.

  • Any promotional period and the price applicable after that period.

By purchasing the subscription, the customer authorises Vector Painter and its payment provider to charge the selected payment method when the subscription begins and on each subsequent monthly billing date until the subscription is cancelled.

The subscription automatically renews for successive one-month billing periods. There is no minimum subscription term unless expressly stated before purchase.

The recurring billing date is shown during checkout, in the order confirmation or in the customer’s subscription account.

Minor variations in the exact payment date may occur because of weekends, payment processing times or differences in the number of days in a calendar month.

Applicable VAT and other taxes are calculated according to the customer’s location and the information supplied during checkout.

  1. BETA LAUNCH PRICE AND PRICE CHANGES

A price described as a Beta Launch Price, introductory price or promotional price does not guarantee that the price will remain unchanged permanently unless Vector Painter expressly states otherwise.

If a temporary promotional price will automatically change to a different recurring price, the new price and the date or billing period from which it applies will be clearly disclosed before purchase.

Vector Painter may change the subscription price for valid reasons, including changes in taxes, operating costs, payment processing costs, infrastructure costs, functionality or the scope of the Service.

Existing subscribers will be notified by email at least 30 days before the first renewal charged at the new price, unless applicable law requires a longer notice period.

A new price will apply only to future billing periods. Customers may cancel their subscription before the new price takes effect.

  1. AUTOMATIC RENEWAL

Unless cancelled, the subscription automatically renews every month and the selected payment method is charged the applicable recurring subscription price.

Automatic renewal continues until:

  • The customer cancels the subscription.

  • Vector Painter terminates the subscription in accordance with this Policy.

  • Payment cannot be collected after reasonable payment attempts.

  • The Service is permanently discontinued.

The customer is responsible for maintaining valid and accurate payment and contact information.

  1. CANCELLING THE SUBSCRIPTION

Customers may cancel their subscription at any time without a cancellation fee.

To cancel the subscription:

  1. Sign in at https://vector-painter.com/ by selecting the account icon in the upper-right corner of the website.

  2. Open the subscription management section.

  3. Select the option to cancel the Vector Painter Nest subscription.

  4. Complete the cancellation confirmation process.

Customers may also request cancellation by emailing info@vector-painter.com from the email address associated with the subscription.

The cancellation request should include the customer’s full name and order or subscription number.

Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. The customer will retain access to Vector Painter Nest until the end of that period, and no further renewal payment will be charged.

Payments already made are not refunded solely because the customer cancels during a paid billing period, except where a refund is required by applicable law or expressly provided under this Policy.

Cancelling future automatic renewals is different from exercising the statutory right of withdrawal described below.

  1. EU AND EEA CONSUMER RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Consumers in the European Union or European Economic Area generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days from the date on which the subscription contract is concluded, without giving a reason.

This statutory right generally applies to the initial subscription contract and not separately to every monthly renewal, unless mandatory applicable law provides otherwise.

Vector Painter Nest is normally made available immediately after purchase.

Where required by applicable law, before immediate access is provided, the customer will be asked to:

  • Expressly request that supply of the digital service begins before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period.

  • Acknowledge that, once access to the digital service begins, the customer may lose the statutory right of withdrawal.

This consent and acknowledgement require a separate affirmative action by the customer and are not inferred solely from acceptance of this Subscription Policy.

If the customer does not provide the required express consent and acknowledgement, access to the Service may be delayed until the 14-day withdrawal period expires.

The customer will lose the statutory right of withdrawal only where all applicable legal requirements have been satisfied. Nothing in this Policy limits a mandatory withdrawal right that cannot legally be waived.

  1. HOW TO EXERCISE THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Where the statutory right of withdrawal remains available, the customer may exercise it by:

  • Using the online withdrawal function made available through the Vector Painter website or customer account during the applicable withdrawal period.

  • Emailing an unambiguous withdrawal statement to info@vector-painter.com.

  • Using the model withdrawal statement provided at the end of this Policy.

The withdrawal notice must be sent before the applicable withdrawal period expires.

The online withdrawal function will allow the customer to submit and confirm the withdrawal request. Vector Painter will acknowledge receipt of an online withdrawal request without undue delay by email or another durable medium.

To help identify and process an email request, the customer should include their full name, account email address and order or subscription number.

  1. REFUNDS FOLLOWING A VALID WITHDRAWAL

If the customer validly exercises a statutory right of withdrawal, Vector Painter will refund all payments covered by that withdrawal without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice.

Unless the customer expressly agrees otherwise, the refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction.

No additional refund fee will be charged.

After a valid withdrawal, access to Vector Painter Nest may be disabled immediately.

If the customer expressly requested immediate access and validly acknowledged the loss of the right of withdrawal, a refund will not normally be provided solely because the customer changed their mind after access began, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

  1. FAILED PAYMENTS

If a recurring payment fails, Vector Painter or its payment provider may:

  • Notify the customer.

  • Retry the payment.

  • Ask the customer to update the payment method.

  • Temporarily suspend access to the Service.

If payment cannot be collected within a reasonable period, the subscription may be terminated.

No cancellation penalty will be charged. However, the customer remains responsible for any valid payment obligations incurred before termination.

No further subscription payments will be charged after the subscription has been validly cancelled or terminated, except for payments already lawfully due.

  1. BETA VERSION NOTICE

Vector Painter Nest is currently provided as a Beta version and is under continuous development, testing and improvement.

Because it is a Beta version:

  • Some functions may contain errors, inaccuracies or temporary limitations.

  • Processing results may vary depending on the structure and complexity of the uploaded SVG file.

  • Temporary interruptions, maintenance or performance issues may occur.

  • Functions, interface elements and processing methods may be improved or modified over time.

The nesting layouts are not represented as mathematically optimal solutions in every possible case.

Vector Painter Nest is designed to provide a practical balance between nesting quality, processing accuracy and processing speed.

Customers must review exported files, dimensions, spacing, restricted areas, holding tabs, geometry and nesting results before beginning laser cutting or committing materials to production.

The Beta designation does not exclude or reduce any mandatory consumer rights concerning conformity, supply, remedies, refunds or digital services.

  1. UPDATES AND CHANGES TO THE SERVICE

Vector Painter may update or modify the Service for valid reasons, including:

  • Improving nesting quality or processing speed.

  • Adding or improving Beta features.

  • Correcting errors or security vulnerabilities.

  • Maintaining browser, server or technical compatibility.

  • Adapting to changes in law or regulatory requirements.

  • Protecting the Service against abuse.

  • Adapting the Service to infrastructure or capacity requirements.

Such modifications will not result in an additional charge during an already paid billing period.

Customers will be informed of relevant modifications in a clear and understandable manner.

If a modification negatively affects access to or use of the Service in more than a minor way, consumers will be informed reasonably in advance by email or another durable medium.

Where required by applicable law, affected consumers may terminate the subscription without charge within 30 days after receiving the notice or after the modification takes effect, whichever is later.

  1. SERVICE CONFORMITY AND CONSUMER REMEDIES

Vector Painter is responsible for supplying the digital service in conformity with the contract and the description made available before purchase.

For a continuously supplied digital service, mandatory conformity obligations apply throughout the active subscription period.

If the Service is not supplied, does not work as described or otherwise lacks conformity, the customer should contact info@vector-painter.com and provide:

  • The name and email address associated with the account.

  • The order or subscription number.

  • A clear description of the issue.

  • Relevant files or screenshots, where reasonably necessary.

  • The remedy requested.

Subject to applicable consumer law, the customer may be entitled to:

  • Have the Service brought into conformity within a reasonable time and without charge.

  • Receive a proportionate price reduction.

  • Terminate the affected contract.

  • Receive an applicable refund.

Where Czech consumer law applies, consumer complaints will be handled without undue delay and no later than 30 calendar days after the complaint is made, unless the customer agrees to a longer period.

Any refund legally due because of lack of conformity or termination will be processed without undue delay and, where required, within 14 days using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

  1. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

The customer must:

  • Provide accurate account, billing and contact information.

  • Keep login credentials secure.

  • Not share or resell account access.

  • Use only files that the customer has the legal right to upload and process.

  • Not upload malicious code or use the Service unlawfully.

  • Not attempt to bypass security or technical restrictions.

  • Independently verify exported results before manufacturing.

  • Follow appropriate laser cutting and workplace safety procedures.

The customer remains responsible for laser machine settings, material selection, kerf, scale, physical production and the final suitability of exported files for a specific manufacturing purpose.

  1. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION BY VECTOR PAINTER

Vector Painter may temporarily suspend access where reasonably necessary because of:

  • Failed payment.

  • Security risks.

  • Maintenance.

  • Unlawful or abusive use.

  • Account sharing or resale of access.

  • Attempts to disrupt the Service.

  • Legal or regulatory requirements.

Where reasonably possible, the customer will be notified and provided with an opportunity to resolve the issue.

Vector Painter may permanently discontinue the Service for operational, legal or commercial reasons.

If Vector Painter permanently discontinues a paid subscription before the end of a billing period for reasons not caused by the customer’s breach, the customer will receive an appropriate refund for the unused prepaid period.

This section does not limit any mandatory statutory remedies.

  1. PERSONAL DATA AND UPLOADED FILES

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Vector Painter Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law, including the GDPR where applicable.

Uploaded and generated files are processed only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure and improve the Service, subject to the Privacy Policy.

Customers should download and retain copies of their exported files.

Nothing in this Policy limits any mandatory right to retrieve customer-provided or customer-created content following termination where applicable law grants that right.

  1. CONSUMERS AND BUSINESS CUSTOMERS

A consumer is a natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession.

Statutory consumer rights, including the 14-day right of withdrawal and consumer alternative dispute resolution rights, may not apply where the subscription is purchased entirely for business or professional purposes.

Nothing in this Policy limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

  1. CHANGES TO THIS SUBSCRIPTION POLICY

Vector Painter may update this Subscription Policy to reflect changes to the Service, law, billing practices or consumer protection requirements.

Changes will not retroactively reduce rights acquired during an already paid billing period.

Material changes affecting an active subscription will be communicated in advance by email or another durable medium where required by applicable law.

If a material change adversely affects the customer, the customer may cancel or terminate the subscription as required by applicable law.

  1. GOVERNING LAW

This Subscription Policy and the subscription contract are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.

If the customer is a consumer habitually resident in another country, this choice of law does not deprive the customer of mandatory consumer protections provided by the law of that country.

Nothing in this Policy restricts a consumer’s right to bring proceedings before a court that has jurisdiction under applicable consumer law.

  1. ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Customers are encouraged to contact Vector Painter first at info@vector-painter.com so that an attempt can be made to resolve the complaint directly.

If a consumer dispute cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, the consumer may submit a proposal for out-of-court dispute resolution to:

If you have a statutory right of withdrawal and wish to exercise it, send an email to info@vector-painter.com with the following statement:

“I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the Vector Painter Nest monthly subscription.”

To help Vector Painter identify and process the request, please include your full name, account email address and order or subscription number.

No signature is required when the withdrawal statement is submitted electronically.
